This event is part of the South Australian 2020 Nature Festival, a ten day program of activities and experiences dedicated to celebrating South Australian nature.
Join us from the comfort of your home in this FREE zoom event, to hear from local people about the different ways they are involved in our local environment, what is special about their patch and why they love being connected to these places.
This event will help us all to learn more about the diverse natural areas within our community, and get everyone excited to get out and explore and enjoy our local environment.
We'll be putting a spotlight on small, local ways to connect with nature and highlight different ways you can get involved.
The event will focus on the natural environment of Seacliff, Kingston Park and Marino and introduce you to some of the special natural places on our doorsteps.
The final list of speakers will be confirmed soon, but we're excited to bring you a selection of people to briefly share their stories with you.
Hear from locals involved with:
- Marino Conservation Park
- our coastal dunes (Holdfast Habitat Heroes)
- Pine Gully
- Glenthorne National Park
- our hooded plovers
- Nature Play SA
- and maybe more.......
