The Nature Festival tour by EcoCaddy will traverse over 12km’s of the green city squares, Adelaide Parklands and Adelaide Riverbank (Karrawirra Pari) at zero emissions! How good is that! With us as your trusty guides you’ll see all of the south and east parklands as well as the Riverbank and parts of North Adelaide. Our rider will be stopping at points of interest along the way and will assist you to snap the best photos of you and your co-passenger that is Facebook banner worthy.
So what will you actually do on this tour? Well you won’t be doing any pedalling, that’s for sure. Leave that to the pros (us)! One of the great things about our trikes is that they are electric-assisted - meaning our riders are having fun too and getting fit! We’ve made it super easy for you, so on the day all you need to do is rock up 10 minutes before your tour is set to start and then leave the rest to our team.
First things first, we’ll come and pick you up from the Nature Festival Hub. Our rider will give you the low-down on what you’re just about to experience and offer you a cosy blanket if the day is a little brisk. Once you’re all tucked in, we’ll set off into the sun, cruising some of Adelaide’s lesser known laneways in the southern parts of the CBD before bursting out into the free flowing Adelaide parklands.
At this point you and your co-passenger will probably look at each other and wonder where the heck are we? That’s the magic of this tour - we will take you to an urban wilderness you wouldn’t know existed and talk you through the history and stories of how it came to be.
Our unique form of transport enables you and your co-passenger to get right up close to the flora and fauna, so you can touch, smell and hear everything right from your very own comfy moving chair. And the best thing is, you never have to move a muscle - well maybe for a selfie!
Sessions available hourly from 10am-1pm, every day excluding Mondays.
