Join an expert guide from the Nature Conservation Society, hosted by ForestrySA, for this second bird watching field trip as part of Nature Festival in the Kersbrook Forest off Humbug Scrub Road. Learn new skills for bird identification and hear about the long running annual Mt Lofty Ranges Woodland Bird Monitoring program run by Nature Conservation Society. Bring your own binoculars and dress for the outdoors and and the weather as appropriate. Location description will be sent out to participants closer to the date as map may not be clear.
ForestrySA manages over 20,000ha of land in the Mount Lofty Ranges including significant areas of bushland managed for conservation. We are partnering with the Nature Conservation Society to deliver 2 field trips to explore the bird life of the forest.
