Can you find something soft? Or spiky? Or that reminds you of the wind? Scavenger hunts are a playful way of exploring nature.
This family focussed event provides an opportunity for children and adults to explore nature in a safe environment, and use their imagination and creativity to notice, find and appreciate natural elements.
The event will be held at the Hacks Lagoon picnic area and participants will be provided with a list of items to finds. Participants will be encouraged and supported to explore the area to find the items on the list....there are no wrong answers!
Time will be set aside to discuss the items that were found and to share any special or unusual treasures!
Please wear closed shoes, long pant and sunsmart clothing, and bring a water bottle. There are toilets and handwashing facilities at the picnic area.
