Join Simon and Jane (Valley Imagery) and Matt (Barossa Hiking) on a guided hike and learn practical tips to capture the beauty of nature.
Learn how to use your smartphone or camera from an experienced photographer along the way.
Bring your smartphone or camera along on this moderate 6km hike. We will transition between the native bushland and pine forest over undulating terrain while learning about light and composition.
Hiking to the summit of Mt Crawford will allow you to capture the varied scenery and practice creative techniques with your camera.
What to expect:
• Learning how to use light to capture dramatic scenes.
• Storytelling with images.
• Understanding image composition and the use of creative techniques.
• Basic editing to improve your pictures.
•Fundamentals of the exposure triangle.
Simon is an award-winning local photographer with a diverse portfolio and has extensive experience hiking and capturing stunning images throughout the USA, Canada and Barossa Valley.
Simon's style of photography involves connecting to the outdoors and capturing nature just as we see them.
Join Simon and Jane on a hiking experience to capture nature in a way that shows its best.
