Nature Creative partners with Carrick Hill for this year's Nature Festival with a delightful Spring theme! Nature Creative will connect children to nature using ecofriendly and sustainable, creative art processes. Tanya is an Art Therapist who also teaches Art Classes from her nature surrounded studio near Belair National Park. She strongly believes that Nature is our best teacher and by connecting to nature we are connecting to our most balanced, innate self. Nature Creative classes inspire us to observe and explore nature, then engage with it creatively to appreciate its beauty. Such processes are proven to enhance mental health and well being.
The world is in your hands! Children will learn a paper making process that encourages the recycling of paper, and will create a collection of planet Earth's with seeds inside. Use the world map to make the Earth's continents and clouds. Take your collection of planet Earth's home, care for them, watch your seeds sprout, grow and transform your creations!
A caregiver aged 18+ years must remain onsite with all participating children.
