Orienteering SA will offer a choice of FREE orienteering courses for individuals or families to do around Pakapakanthi Park and Victoria Park Wetlands. Orienteering helpers will be on hand to introduce newcomers to orienteering. We will be using electronic SI kits and SI sticks to record times.
We will also be offering FREE children’s KID-O orienteering activities including ‘string’ courses to follow and developmental games.
The registration will be at the southern end of Beaumont Road. Signs will be from corner of South Terrace and Beaumont Road. Saturday 7th October 10am to 1PM. ALL WELCOME!
Pakapakanthi/Victoria Park has undergone a transformation to create a wetland and path network, boardwalks, viewing points and picnic areas, enhanced with plantings of trees, grasses and aquatic plant species. We look forward to introducing people to an exciting new way to enjoy this iconic area.
