Connecting with nature and our home Mother Earth, this event will introduce you to the magic of ecodyeing with leaves, and also botanical watercolour painting.
This will be a day of creation, observation and community-building inspired by nature.
Fiona Connell will teach you how to ecoprint onto a thrifted, pre-prepared garment (selected from a size-inclusive range). A delicious home-cooked meal will be served, then weather permitting, we will take a walk along the nearby creek to collect specimens from nature. Donna Gordge will guide you through a series of botanical watercolour sketches of your collection, while your garment processes.
You will take home your dyed garment and several watercolour paintings.
