Meet near the Gawler Visitor Centre car park adjacent Pioneer Park.
Tapa Pariara path is 8.4 km along the South Para and North Para rivers in the centre of Gawler. Return will be via a linking street cycle path.
Cycle through magnificent red gum trees, interesting riparian understorey, under historic rail and road bridges and through the town parklands including the famous avenue of Moreton Bay Figs planted in 1870s with assistance of Dr Richard Schomburgk, one of Gawler's significant early citizens and Adelaide Botanic Garden Director 1865-91.
Suitable for children with supervising adult. Limit of 20. Some steeper sections will involve walking to ensure safety.
