Beautiful and impermanent, learn how to make an organic sculpture that will gently return back to nature.
The workshop will start with an introduction to Ephemeral Art at Andy Goldsworthy's artwork "Black Spring". This 15 min talk will also outline some common courtesy and key things to consider when creating an artwork of this nature. The participants will then be encouraged to create an art work of their own throughout the gardens, with a few experienced artists assisting whilst providing points of reflection in regards to the creative process. On conclusion of the workshop you will be assisted in capturing a professional photograph to showcase your effort. Workshop participants are encouraged to remain for the tour to showcase their artwork to the public.
*The event will begin at the rear of the National Wine Centre of Australia*
