The natural world is a vital component of the human experience, providing food, water, air, relaxation and inspiration. Trees are conspicuous ambassadors of the natural world, their lives entwined within the cycles of resources on which we depend. Trees are also conspicuous in our community, bringing beauty, peace, shelter, wildlife and wellbeing. Trees are fundamental to the landscape of Burnside.
Over 50 local artists have interpreted the theme 'Life Among Trees' and their work will be presented in the Atrium at the Burnside Civic Centre.
Explore the exhibition to see how local artists are inspired by Life Among Trees. You will also have the chance to cast your vote in the People's Choice Awards for the artists.
The exhibition is open during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm) from Monday 26 September to Thursday 20 October.
WE REQUEST THAT YOU REGISTER TO ATTEND, BUT IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL AND NO PRINTED TICKET IS REQUIRED AT THE EXHIBITION.
This exhibition is being conducted by the City of Burnside.
