Sean Lappin is the Managing Director of Connected Self Wellbeing Services and guide for this exploration of nature connection session. An experienced facilitator and nature lover who has evolved his connection with nature through regular bushwalks and some incredible multi-day treks through some beautiful places in Australia and abroad. Noticing the many benefits of developing a strong nature connection Sean undertook certification through a course administered by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy which builds not the approach known as Shinrin You, which translates as Forest Bathing in Japanese. This model provides an accessible and evidence based approach for exploring connection to nature in a way that is meaningful and has a range of tangible benefits - for humans as well as the natural world we live in. This includes improved immunity, reduced stress levels, lowered heart rates, greater overall wellbeing and a greater appreciation of our natural world.
