Use the beauty of natural silk, cotton and viscose fabrics and fibres to add colourful surface decoration to handmade merino wool felt.
Participants will learn how to use natural fibres and fabric to create beautiful handmade nuno felt. Experiment with different fabrics, including fine silk, cotton and viscose fabrics applied to layers of wool fibres, then felted together to create beautiful surface decoration. These techniques can be used for making unique accessories, garments and artworks.
All materials are included. Complimentary refreshments and delicious lunch will be provided.
Participants should have some experience of feltmaking (eg Creating with Wool on Mon 2nd Oct or similar experience)
