In partnership with Walking together with Kaurna, ACF Adelaide Community Group is hosting a Kaurna walk and cultural event.
It will start in Mitcham Reserve where we’ll learn about ‘place’ and also Kaurna plants and their uses.

We will then walk into Brownhill Creek (Willawilla) which was once a camping, hunting and gathering ground for Kaurna people.
We’ll see and hear about Allan Sumner’s sculptures, then walk on to admire some ancient Kaurna shelter trees.

We might even try to measure the age of an old shelter tree!
The event promises an opportunity to learn about Kaurna culture on Kaurna Country with a Kaurna presenter.
Don’t miss your chance to join us.
