Artist Mary-Anne Le Roux is an eco-printmaker who makes and uses natural inks ink her practice. As part of the Nature Festival, in this workshop participants will make a range of natural inks, including turmeric, black walnut, blueberry, beetroot and chalk inks, which they will take home with recipes for making. Inks are suitable for a range of uses including drawing, printmaking and dying and there will be time to experiment with using the inks. Join for a creative day of making and creating in beautiful Tea Tree Gully at Gallery 1855 at 10am-1pm, Saturday 14th October, 2023. Please wear an old shirt or apron. All materials provided, but participants should bring 5 jars to take inks home in.
