Walk and talk with our guides Dr Michelle Blewitt (AUSMAP) and Jo Hendrikx (Marino Rocks Social) as we meander along the coastal walk to Marino Rocks Social. Discover the AUSMAP citizen science projects inspiring solutions for monitoring microplastics on our coastline. Enjoy stunning views of the bay from upstairs at Marino Rocks Social where our presentation concludes. A school holiday lunch special can be ordered at the cafe on your way through and delivered at the conclusion of the presentation so you're refuelled for the return walk.
The Itinerary:
10.10 am Meet on the beach at Tulukutangga (Kingston Park Coastal Reserve)
10.15-10.40 Beach Demonstration
10.40-11.15 Meander the Coastal Walk (approx 800m)
11.15 approx Arrive @ Marino Rocks Social (Order lunch if wished on arrival)
11.20-11.50 Completion of talk upstairs at Marino Rocks Social
11.50 Event Concludes. Participants to make their own way back to Kingston Park or stay on and order lunch at our local community cafe.

- This activity requires parental supervision and suited to participants Year 3 and upwards.
- The walk is pram friendly but not wheelchair accessible.
