Metal Nature Journals Art Workshop is an extraordinary collaboration of two very different artists. Donna Gordge and Katie Sandison both are professional artists and qualified Art Teachers, who have come together to present this unique and exciting art workshop set in the glorious Adelaide Botanic Gardens for the Nature Festival.
You will create a front cover and back from soft metal with inscriptions and pressings, and colour your favourite nature inspired imagery provided by the artists who have many examples to share.
The second part of the event involves Coptic book binding which is a very specific skill to learn. New skills with be mastered with explicit instructions for beginners all based on the theme of nature and bringing this back into a home or book library.
These can then be filled with many of your future nature art impressions of the gardens.
