National Parks and Wildlife Service SA are showcasing the Parks of the Glenthorne Precinct in the Park of the Month program for September! To celebrate, NPWS are offering mountain biking skills clinics in Glenthorne National Park (O'Halloran Hill section).
Qualified instructors from Head for the Hills Off-road Cycling will be leading two-hour sessions that will cover skills such as:
- Balance and control
- Body positioning
- Braking techniques
- Navigation of small obstacles
Recommended age is 9-13. The beginner clinic is designed for riders with little to no mountain biking experience but must be comfortable on 2 wheels.
Don't worry if you don't have your own mountain bike to bring with you, mountain bikes and helmet hire is available for an additional cost.
