Natural Dye Workshop
When: Saturday 14th of October 10am-12.30pm
Where: The Supper Room Building, Yankalilla Show Grounds
Cost: $70 per Person (not suitable for children under the age of 12)
In this 2 hour workshop we will tap into the beauty of natural dyes using the circular design principles. Learn how to create your own botanically printed silk scarf using materials from the natural world, such as roses, geraniums, butterfly pea flowers, marigolds and more! During the workshop, you will learn how to: steam print flowers and create your own watercolour paints out of flowers and tea. This session will be run by local environmentally conscious artist, Phoebe Hunter, who innately draws upon the concepts of circularity and sustainability, exploring the convergence of existing materials to create her ethereal textiles.
