Explore Belair National Park, South Australia’s oldest national park!
Learn about Australian wildlife and the health benefits of connecting with nature. Your visit to Belair National Park will include a guided walk to look for wildlife, a visit to the adventure playground and some nature inspired activities at Playford Lake. You will hear from the local Park Ranger as well as staff from Green Adelaide and National Parks and Wildlife Service.
Following the tour, there will be time to enjoy your lunch in the beautiful surrounds of the Government Farm Picnic Ground.
A mini-bus will provided to transport passengers to and from the park from the city. Alternatively you can travel to the park in your own vehicle.

This event is for newly arrived residents to Australia (less than 5 years).
Children welcome as long as accompanied by a parent or guardian.

- Sun protection - hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
- Small backpack
- Lunch
- Drinking water
- Camera
- Clothing suitable for the weather forecast on the day

The bus is scheduled to leave the park at 1:30pm and return to The Joinery for a 2pm drop off.
Important notes:
- This is an outdoor event and is subject to weather conditions. If severe weather or fire danger is forecast, this event will be cancelled. If the event is cancelled, attendees will be notified by email and SMS text message.
- Vehicle entry fees will be free for people attending this event. If you are travelling in your own vehicle, advise the park staff at the ticket booth that you are attending this event. Car parking is available at Government Farm #2.
