Join us at Upper Sturt to discover the nature that endangered Southern Brown Bandicoots love.
We’ll sound-map the local birdlife, frogs and insects as we listen for bandicoots in the undergrowth.
Participants will receive a journaling book and pencils, helpful drawing tips and a warm welcome with a light morning tea.
This Event is open to everyone and will suit all levels of drawing and creative writing skills.
While the Event is aimed at adults, families are also welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and be appropriately supervised at all times. The workshop is generally suited to children over 8 years but may suit some younger children.
The Event will involve walking about 100 metres on a steep ramp and over slippery uneven ground. Please dress for the weather and terrain (sturdy footwear) and remember to bring a hat, sunscreen, water bottle and snacks if you are staying for longer than the Event duration.
The Event will be cancelled if there is extreme fire danger weather warnings or wind-storms. The Event will run in poor/rainy weather.
