A South Australian Museum exhibition, the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year celebrates the natural heritage of Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and New Guinea.
See nature up close through stunning images by professional, emerging and junior photographers who have shown impeccable timing, patience, artistry and technique to capture incredible moments in time.
This breathtaking exhibition allows us to witness the unique beauty of the flora, fauna and landscapes of our own backyard and the world around us. This year’s exhibition also includes the exciting new category of Astrophotography which introduces us to spellbinding images of astronomical objects and celestial events of the night sky.
The Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year exhibition opens at the South Australian Museum on Saturday 27 August 2022 and will run until Sunday 30 October 2022.
