During this workshop you will be introduced to different patterns and styles of artworks that can be made using pressed leaves and flowers. Expect to be drawn in to the tiny details in nature you might not have noticed before - the way dissected oxalis (soursob) leaves look like love hearts, or the sweet patterns made where bugs have munched the edge of leaves. Using just a few simple tools and materials, you'll create a lasting artwork that will remind you of what nature brings in early Spring.
At the end of the workshop, you'll take home your own artwork as well as a guide to pressing flowers so you can continue to make more at home.
Appropriate for all ages. Children under 10 to be accompanied by an adult.
