Photographing local butterflies
1.30 – 2.30 pm (indoor COVID safe seating for 20).
Nature photographer Aiden Bradford will present photographs of native butterflies and provide a commentary on the photographic techniques he employs.
If the weather is suitable (>15 C), Aiden will take photographers on a walk through the nearby Wirra Creek Trees for Life site for 45 min from 2.45, providing practical advice to photographers (bring your camera!).
Back yard butterflies display noon – 4pm
You can discuss with Wirra Creek Community Gardeners the butterflies you are likely to attract to your garden, and, which species of native plant is likely to grow well at your place to allure those butterflies.

Swan plant – specimen plant with free seeds & seedlings for those who would like to attract Wanderer Butterflies to their own back yard.
