National Parks are for everyone to enjoy. Join Yvie, NPWS Access for All Coordinator for a guided walk in Marino Conservation Park on the recently upgraded Botanical Trail. The trail has relatively small gradients however some people may need assistance. The trail leads to stunning views of the Adelaide coastline and is well worth the walk to get there.
Marino Conservation Park conserves the last remaining stands of coastal heath vegetation along this part of the Adelaide coastline and stunning scenic views of the Adelaide metropolitan coastline. Dogs are welcome in this park (on lead) so they can join us on the walk too!
Park of the Month
NPWS is celebrating the Glenthorne National Park Precinct as our Park of the Month in September with events and activities. For further information visit www.parks.sa.gov.au/park-of-the-month
This activity is for everyone who has an interest in accessibility in parks. The botanical trail is a relatively easy 1.4km return trail, sections of the path are hard compact gravel, with the middle section of the trail being dirt so can be muddy when wet.
