Young foodies, green thumbs and nature-lovers, this one’s for you!
Food has an amazing power to connect us back to where our food comes from, to nature, and also to the people around us.
With this in mind, on Sunday 26th September, book your spot and swing past a little garden pocket just outside the city (location TBA) to get your fingers in the soil and some quality, food-and-nature-loving connection in your soul. Plant the seeds of all your favourite summer veg - and some fresh new friendships as well! - getting to know some of Adelaide’s other lovers of everything growing, cooking and delicious tasting.
All this over some delicious, ticket-included nibbles and then, after the workshop, a drink at the Suburban Brew to celebrate all our hard work planting and friending.
As YFM is a youth-led and youth-focused organisation, this event is aimed at people aged 18-35, of all genders, LGBTQIA+ friendly.
Presented by the Youth Food Movement Australia in partnership with SA Urban Food Network and Green Adelaide.
