Still life is an observance of beauty and detail in the world around us and there are few subjects more worthy of detailed celebration than plants. Still life demands we slow down, notice, reflect and capture.
Join Rosina Possingham and Trees For Life staff as they share the skills and joys of crafting still life with plants.
Participants are welcome to bring along cut materials from plants that fascinate and inspire from home to combine with local plants and materials grown on site at the wonderful Westwood Nursery to create your own composition. Please also bring your mobile phone.
If you have an interest in photography, botany, beauty or mindful hobbies, this is going to be a Festival highlight.
Rosina Possingham is an emerging multi-disciplinary South Australian artist, designer and photographer who is motivated to challenge, observe and rediscover the way people connect and experience landscape and environment. Like many South Australians, Rosina grew up growing trees for Trees For Life with her family and it got under her skin in the best possible way.
