Add texture and dimensions to nuno felt – great for creating eye-catching dimensional elements on scarves, bags or wall hangings.
Participants will learn how to make gorgeous nuno felt by applying a variety of fabrics and techniques to create applied texture such as ruffles, and use different materials as insertions to create texture and dimension. They will also learn how to make and use nuno prefelts for surface decoration and create a mosaic effect with nuno felt. These methods can all be applies to making scarves, bags, garments and other handmade felt items.
All materials are included. Complimentary refreshments and delicious lunch will be provided.
Participants should have some experience of feltmaking (eg Felting with wool: an introduction to creative wet felting, Monday 2nd October or similar experience).
