Walking Port Augusta: Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden

The Botanic Garden is the premier tourism place visited in our city. Being at the Crossroads of Australia, travellers often stop for a break and a walk in the Garden.

There are daily Guided walks by trained Volunteer Tour Guides each weekday morning, but this is a unique look especially for the Nature Festival.

Port Augusta Garden Club Inc

The Port Augusta Garden Club meets monthly, with guest speakers on a range of subjects of interest to the community. Every spring we have a Plant sale and Flower Display, which attracts members of the public, and encourages an improved aesthetic in the city. Our members regularly donate time and money and plants to worthy causes - schools, play groups and bush-fire victims. Our members are horticulture enthusiasts who have joined to encourage friendship through gardening.
