Granite Island Recreation Park is located off the coast of Victor Harbor, approximately 100km south of Adelaide. Catch the horse drawn tram or take a short stroll over the causeway that connects the mainland at Victor Harbor to Granite Island Recreation Park, and head east towards the Island Café to meet your tour guide. (First tram departs at 10:30am, or allow 15-20mins to walk to the cafe.)
Join us for a 1.5hr walk around Granite Island on the Kaiki walking track and discover the stories our guides have to share. (Please note there are some stairs and a basic level of fitness and mobility is needed.)
Gain insight into why Granite Island’s little penguins call Granite Island home. Watch as seabirds such as petrels, shearwaters, and cormorants come and go from the island. Enjoy the coastal scenery and explore the Island's interesting history.
