We will walk to the Port Lincoln jetty from Park Terrace Kindergarten and you will wonder 'What's Under Your Feet?'
On returning to Kindy you will view a video of underwater footage beneath the Jetty, both in daylight and at night to discover what's really there.
There will be a mini-museum, facilitated by marine biologist Dr. Shelley Harrison-Paull (Marine Parks Regional Coordinator Eyre Peninsula Region at SA Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources). Emma Richards, Indigenous Researcher/Cultural Consultant, and Barngarla elder will be present to share some of the Barngarla people's language and history around fishing and the sea.
You will also have the opportunity to interact with the stunning mural created for us by artists Karen Carr and Jill Pantiyasa. The mural was the catalyst for our amazing learning journey.
