Aboriginal Flag
We acknowledge and pay our respects to elders past, present, and emerging of the Kaurna, Ngarrindjeri, Adnyamathanha, Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara, and more than thirty other groups of traditional owners of the land now known as South Australia.

From our own back gardens to the majesty of the Flinders, nature is central to who we are as South Australians.

More than 90% of us get out into our parks and beaches each year, and the challenges of COVID have only further highlighted how critical nature is for our health and wellbeing.

Celebrating our great nature in SA

With over two hundred events for all ages, the Nature Festival is back for our third year and full of creative ways to connect with nature and each other.

How do we stay COVID-safe?

Follow government advice
If you have symptoms of covid, please don't come a Nature Festival event. We'll be following all government advice, and our hosts will, too.
Smaller events, outdoor events
As always, we encourage a diversity of small events, and many will be outdoors.
DIY, virtual, and self-guided events
We've recruited a range of self-guided activities along with a selection of virtual offerings that you can experience the comfort of your own home.
