The 6-hectare area of coastal grassland on the parklands at Park Terrace and Esplanade Ardrossan contains more than 100 native plant species.
This walk and talk will identify the many native plant species (including several Rare and Endangered) as well as weeds in the area.
Good rains this year mean that many flowering species will be putting on a good display.
A Friends group has been helping manage the area over the last 6 years with major improvement occurring with weed control and some cultural burning.
Learn about experience with managing the area and future plans.
