Join us for a day of connection, conservation, and community at Wittelbee Conservation Park. Caring for Wittelbee Community Day brings together local volunteers, families, community groups, and nature lovers to help care for this special coastal landscape while learning about its unique plants, animals, and cultural significance.
Participants can get involved in hands-on conservation activities, enjoy guided walks, meet local environmental and community organisations, and learn how we can all play a role in protecting Wittelbee for future generations. Whether you're a regular volunteer or visiting for the first time, everyone is welcome to come along, share knowledge, and celebrate what makes Wittelbee so special.
Come together, connect with nature, and help care for Wittelbee. 🌿🌊
As part of Nature Festival, the Caring for Wittelbee Community Day encourages people to connect with nature through hands-on conservation action. Participants will help plant local native seeds into tubestock, giving them the best chance to grow before being returned to Wittelbee Conservation Park. This activity highlights the festival’s theme of connecting people with the natural world while supporting the long-term restoration and care of this special coastal environment for future generations.
