Nature journalling is a creative and mindful practice that encourages people to slow down, observe closely and connect with the natural world. In this introductory workshop, participants will explore nature through simple drawing, writing and sensory awareness activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Guided by certified Art Therapist and ecologist Robyn Molsher of VistaArt Therapies, participants will learn easy nature journalling techniques that focus on noticing rather than artistic skill. Together we will explore patterns, colours, textures and seasonal changes in the local environment while developing a deeper appreciation of nature. No prior art or journalling experience is required. Cost is $15. Please bring a small A5 sketch pad and black pen- other art materials provided- max 15 participants. Bookings essential. Suitable for ages 16+. Food and refreshments available for purchase. Diverse City Adelaide provides a safe, inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable and celebrated. |
