This free professional development session for teachers is aimed at early years, primary school and high school educators and teaching staff.
The workshop will discuss ways to link outdoors environments with the curriculum and provide ideas for getting students outdoors and undertaking real world, relevant learning across a range of subject areas.
Participants will have opportunities to try some of the suggested activities, including aquatic macroinvertebrate monitoring, nature poetry, birdwatching and more.

Professional Development certificates will be provided for each participant.
The session will primarily be based at Breakout Creek Wetland (stage 3) but we will meet at Apex Park Wetland and walk over to Breakout Creek.
Limited parking and public toilets are available at Apex Park Wetland.
