Join artists Rosina Possingham and Dominic Guerrera for a two-hour cyanotype workshop at Yitpi Yartapuultiku.
Spend time looking closely at the plants and landscape around Yitpi Yartapuultiku, gathering inspiration from what is growing, flowering and seeding on Country. During the workshop, we will use plant material to create photograms and experiment with writing and drawing on tracing paper to make our own prints.
The workshop is part of Rosina and Dominic’s ongoing collaborative project This Could Be Ruby Saltbush, which explores our relationships with nature, landscapes and response art making process. Their practice brings together photography, text and plant material as a way of slowing down, paying attention and making with Country.
Responding to Nature Festival’s theme of SEED, this workshop considers the small beginnings within a landscape and the possibilities they hold for what might grow next.
