Herbal Tea Blending Workshop and Yoga Class - Nature Festival SA
with Gaia Botanica & Bunmark Health
Location: The Summit Community Centre
This year, Nature Festival's theme is Seed - the quiet intensity of possibility, the moment before something takes form, when the conditions for transformation are present but the outcome is still unseen. Seed is about beginnings: planting ideas, relationships, and intentions, and trusting the slow, patient work of change.
Our Herbal Tea Blending Workshop is an invitation to plant something of your own. We'll begin with a gentle yoga session to ground the body and quiet the mind, before moving into guided mindfulness, sensory exploration, and the gentle art of blending botanicals.
The blend you create is its own small seed - a personal tea ritual you can nurture and return to long after the workshop ends, with knowledge and habits that keep growing at home.
This hands-on workshop is for anyone curious about herbs, tea rituals, or simply wanting to slow down and move and sip with intention.
You'll be guided through:
A gentle yoga session to open the workshop (instructor TBC)
Custom herbal tea blending with:
Katrina Schilling, Naturopath – Bunmark Health
Anushka Malcolm, Nutritionist – Gaia Botanica
Together, we'll move mindfully, explore the healing properties of common herbs, and blend our very own custom herbal tea suited to our needs - as well as how to plant the seeds of a nourishing tea ritual at home.
