Join children's author Natalie Giles for a creative workshop where young participants will discover the joy of journalling. Through engaging prompts inspired by their own experiences in the natural world, children will learn practical journalling techniques while exploring the many benefits of reflective writing, including creativity, mindfulness, observation, and self-expression.
Young participants will use decoupage to decorate their nature-inspired journal, making it a special place for their thoughts, stories, sketches, and experiences. Suitable for ages 8 to 12, this hands-on workshop combines writing, craft, and imagination in a fun and welcoming environment.
Natalie Giles grew up in South Australia near the beautiful Barossa Valley. She is a first-time author of her children's picture book "The Guardian of West Oak" which released in 2025. She holds an Oxford Creative Writing degree and was awarded the Denis Diderot scholarship to attend the Chateau d'Orquevaux Artists Residency in France
