JAZZ UNDER THE GUMS - COURTENEY HOOPER

Hosted by
Sinclair's Gully
Hosted by
Sinclair's Gully

Escape to the hills for an enchanting afternoon of wine, nature, and the soulful, jazz-infused sounds of Courteney Hooper under the gums

Escape to the Hills: An Enchanting Afternoon of Wine, Nature & Jazz with Courteney Hooper

Unwind among the candlebark gums for an unforgettable afternoon of soulful sounds, good wine, and the serene beauty of the hills.

Join us for a magical experience as award-winning vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Courteney Hooper brings her unique blend of jazz, folk, and baroque pop to this stunning forest setting. With a voice as warm as the afternoon sun and a repertoire that spans jazz standards, heartfelt originals, and whimsical tales, Courteney’s music is both captivating and deeply personal.

Her compositions draw from lived experience, surreal dreams, and a love of the natural world—bugs included—infusing each performance with sincerity, wit, and charm. Settle in with a glass of local wine, let the melodies drift through the trees, and allow yourself to be transported.

About Courteney

Hailing from the Clare Valley and now based in Adelaide, Courteney has been performing across South Australia since 2019. A recent graduate of the Elder Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Jazz Performance, she continues to make waves in the local music scene with her originality, versatility, and heartfelt approach to songwriting.

This is more than just a concert—it's an experience. Come along and be enchanted.

Sinclair's Gully

Escape to Sinclair’s Gully – where our sustainable vineyard meets nature sanctuary with the highest conservation classification in the Mt Lofty Ranges and be immersed in the wild Australian bushland.

‍
Sinclair’s Gully is so much more than just a sustainable and biodynamic vineyard. Dedicated to preserving the land for future generations, owners and vignerons, Sean and Sue Delaney lead the way in conservation and sustainability practices.

‍
Protecting the rare and endangered species that live on their 20-acre private nature sanctuary sits at the heart of their operation. During this immersive and inspiring experience Sean shares with you the importance of protecting Australia’s fragile ecosystem and what we do to protect and conserve the critically endangered candle bark forest we hold ourselves custodians of.
