If you're interested in waterbugs, citizen science, or just curious about the health of local waterways join us for our 10th Marne and Saunders Waterbug Bioblitz.
Spend a full day or part day with water scientists collecting waterbugs and measuring water quality at sites along the Marne River and Saunders Creek in the Barossa. You will contribute to our understanding what is happening in our local waterways.
Supervised children 8 and up are welcome to take part.
A moderate level of fitness required for the site visits that involve clambering along creek lines.
Sorting waterbug samples at the oval is suitable for a range of physical abilities.
Families with younger children can drop by at Keyneton Oval meet the waterbugs and scientists between 11:00-3:30.
