For six years Josh Camens and his partner have been growing their own little paradise on their one-hectare property at Gawler Belt. They have created veggie patches, an orchard, and are revegetating an old paddock with locally endemic native plants sourced from Gawler’s Understorey Project. They also use natives across the property as hedges, borders, ground covers, and as bush foods.
This walk and talk will explore their process for growing beautiful, productive and climate wise gardens in a peri-urban landscape. Come along and seed some ideas for your own home garden project!
