Inspired by the Impressionist artists of Monet to Matisse: Defying Tradition, Paint Your Place – En plein air is a community-focused program celebrating creativity, connection, and observation through painting outdoors.
AGSA is developing a guide to some outdoor spots for en plein air painting, encouraging our audiences to step outside and take a moment with nature - inspired by Monet to Matisse: Defying Tradition.
This will be activated through Start at the Gallery: Picnic En Plein Air, and through partnerships with other arts orgs/venues.
There is an online portal that people can submit their works to go in the running to win a prize pack.
