Salt n Samphire a community-based nature day centred around Pinnington Reserve, in Price on the Yorke Peninsula.
The event will include the unveiling of an endangered osprey sculpture, as well as hands-on activities and fun for all ages in the great outdoors.

It's Story Time! Marie's Long Flight (11:00am)

Marie's Long Flight is based on the true story of an Osprey chick hatched in 2024 on the artificial nest platform at Coobowie.

Make a bead creation using nature inspired colourful paper beads to take home. Add a leaf to our community tree.
Mock Turtle Face Painter (10:00am to 2:00pm)
Local talent Vanessa and her crew will make your day memorable with free nature-themed face painting.
Bugs N Slugs (10:00am to 2:00pm)
Get up close with fascinating bugs and learn about local Samphire identification with Kris.
Samphire Soap and Magical Floating Rocks (10:00am to 2:00pm)
In a quiet corner you will find handmade samphire soap for sale and can discuss the medicinal benefits with the maker.
