A nature-themed music recital in a beautiful eco village in the Adelaide Hills by acclaimed Adelaide harpist-singer Emma Horwood. Works from medieval melodies to opera arias, folksongs, and contemporary works by
Kate Bush and Nick Drake, celebrating natural elements including trees, flowers, birds, gardens, water, seeds etc. Original works also from Emma, including "The Fertile Void" written for the festival about the frozen seeds that slumber in winter, but are still alive waiting to
grow, and the parallel with our lives in times of challenge. Emma performed in last years festival Flow in the Maritime Museum with her duo and band but this is a chance for people to get up close and personal with her pedal and celtic harp in an intimate venue seating 40.
