As seed collectors, we are all impacted by the same challenges when it comes to fragmented native populations, changing weather, financial viability and sourcing the right seeds for our restoration goals. It's time to bring together the collective experience of South Australia's seed collectors and collaboratively workshop practical solutions.
Through this invitation-only workshop, we are bringing together seed collection practitioners to identify the key threats and barriers to long-term native seed availability and work together to determine some critical strategic directions for moving forward.
We will spend the day at Riverdale Farm with an engaging program, workshopping ideas and solutions to common challenges.
Lunch and a tour of Riverdale's seed production areas and revegetated native grass meadows is included.
This will be a great opportunity to increase cooperation and learn from each other.
A program will be sent to registrants mid-September.
