As part of Nature Festival 2026, join a local resident for a one hour guided walk through Black Forest, Goodwood, Millswood and Forestville.
This area was once covered by a diverse forest of trees, shrubs, creepers, groundcovers and grasses, with the dominant tall trees of the Grey Box (Eucalyptus microcarpa) and River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis).
We will visit a range of interesting and historic trees, before returning to the Clarence Park Community Centre for morning tea.
Thursday 8 October, 10m - 11.30am (followed by morning tea).
The walk is approximately 4km. This event is most suitable for adults and older children. The walk will not be difficult but may be undulating or uneven in places. We will be crossing several roads and mostly walking along our suburban footpaths.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
Please contact us if you have any specific access requirements or questions.
