Join Australian Wildlife Conservancy's Field Ecologists for a guided walk through Yookamurra Sanctuary, home to some of South Australia's rare old-growth mallee woodland. Participants will explore a landscape that connects past, present and future conservation, discovering ancient mallee trees, unique semi-arid plant adaptations, and the signs and stories of threatened species including Bilbies, Bettongs and Numbats. Along the way, guests will learn how wildlife, science and land management work together to restore ecological processes and protect one of the Murray Mallee's most important conservation areas.
