Jen Lush is a voice of fierce tenderness, weaving poetry and sound into dynamic, intimate, and adventurous music. Inspired by artists like Feist and Anaïs Mitchell, her sound weaves tender folk into expansive, evocative rock, with storytelling always at its core. With her band The Field, Jen has toured nationally and continues to captivate audiences with songs that speak to place, poetry, and the human experience. Her previous albums Hum of the Mettle (2023) and Let Loose The Beating Birds (2021) were awarded ARBA’s Roots Album of the Year with music described by Scenestr magazine as “art rock, dark pop, folk noir... hauntingly potent and beautifully fragile.” 2025 saw the double release of the emotive Black Wing / Wolf & The Dog with new music coming out in 2026 “..a truly thoughtful and emotionally fearless songwriter, creating these masterful explorations of folk’s limits.” Music Crowns UK. Jen is also passionate about facilitating high quality arts experiences with children through music, dance and storytelling.
