The SA Museum's Mawson Centre houses Sir Douglas Mawson's personal collection, as well as the polar collections of G.Hubert Wilkins, and John R. Rymill: a State 'polar monopoly' as they the only Australian polar expedition leaders in the pre-WWII era.
